Finally an LA matcha spot that takes the tea seriously instead of just the aesthetic. The Uji ceremonial matcha is direct-import, vibrantly green, rich umami. Pricier than chain spots but incomparably better. A new LA essential.

The best matcha I've had in Los Angeles, full stop. Traditional usucha prepared with real technique — the consistency and froth are perfect. Staff can talk provenance and farm for 10 minutes. This is what I've been looking for in LA.
